As part of the LDB’s continued commitment to being an inclusive employer representative of the people of British Columbia, the BCL has launched its second Do You Proud campaign in support of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

The Do You Proud campaign is about storytelling and celebrating the stories of the people who make up the LDB community. These stories underscore the message behind the campaign: that being proud is about what we do to support each other.

To give back to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, BCL will also be supporting QMUNITY, B.C.’s 2SLGBTQIA+ resource centre through a month-long fundraiser. Last year’s fundraising campaign raised more than $56,000 for QMUNITY, which enabled them to establish a new stream for youth to access free counselling services and expand the variety of gender-affirming garments offered to youth across the province.
